Concrete Playground

The self-deprecating not-humour humour of Sydney artist Christopher Hanrahan's work makes it the kind that continues to resonate long after you've encountered it. If you saw his sculpture Endless Holes (four decanters for CB) which was part of his solo exhibition Table of Knowledge last year, you'll know what I mean.

If I could get the artist to write something about his new show, he might write something exactly like this:
The Seeker is Christopher Hanrahan's second solo exhibition at Sarah Cottier Gallery. Utilising a variety of media from traditional drawing through to casting, aerosol art and neon, Hanrahan examines pretty much nothing. That said — it's pretty good. Pretty, pretty good.
