To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Splendour in the Grass are stretching the fun from two days to three, and have moved homes further north to the slightly warmer winter location of Woodford, Queensland.

Headlining are the Strokes, who sold out their Hordern Pavilion gig in less than 48 hours. Thank you for giving all us disorganised Sydney fans a second chance to set the room (or field) on fire with you. Pixies must love life Down Under as they are back for a second time this year, as well as folksters Mumford and Sons and Laura Marling. And packing her lungs for her second Aussie tour is the crimson-haired Florence and the Machine.

Homegrown favourites are out in full festival force and include Empire of the Son, Paul Kelly, the Temper Trap, the Vines, Wolfmother, Lisa Mitchell and the delectable Angus and Julia Stone. And to top it all off with an electronic cherry are Goldfrapp, Hot Chip, Grizzly Bear, LCD SoundSystem, Foals and Delphic.
